The 'Book of Boobs' is a visual tool to educate and help women to make decisions around breast reconstruction options. It is a unique project that collaborates with patients, nurses, and surgeons and aims to transform the patient experience.

Louise McKenna-Mayes (breast cancer patient) discovered that her story and experience of no access to imagery whilst trying to choose what type of breast reconstruction to have was not a one off. Digging deeper she found this was essentially the same for most women going through a mastectomy. Thinking of how she could change the status quo, the idea of the 'Book of Boobs' was born. Together with Toni Ward (award winning photographer), the 'Book of Boobs' showcases the beauty of the reconstructed form.
